We have been informed that the Ludington City Council is not taking comment from the public about Dr. Andrew Riemer’s downtown construction due to the lawsuit he filed against the city.

Since the city isn’t, we invite the public to comment on it here at Independent News Service.

Submissions we will accept will be truthful and not lies. We may call you to test you and so we desire you provide contact. We will not publish libel. Libel is defined as false in the dictionary. However, if you have anything to say that is critical even though it may be offensive, but truthful, we will publish it.

We invite you to testify truthfully.

Good day,

Dr. Alfred Beryl

Your very editor in chief.

Regarding (Riemer) construction downtown Ludington. The street running North and South along side the building could be recast. I believe it currently has a turn lane to get on to Ludington Avenue going East. Take the turn lane out. Have the street run North and South without a turn lane. That would make room for the current pillar placement. Not a difficult move.

But to get this to the point of a lawsuit. And the public (or lack of) news about all of this. Almost non-existent.

Ludington is a great community. Have smart fixes put in place, not start a public war.
